  • Who is Tribe Schoolies?
    Tribe Schoolies is an Official Schoolies provider for High School graduates. For more than 20 years, it's parent company has assisted High School graduates around the world in organising accommodation, music events and travel packages for their end of high school celebrations.

  • What is Schoolies Week?
    Schoolies Week is a time for Australian High School students to celebrate their graduation from High School, by visiting holiday destinations such as the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Airlie Beach, Lorne and Victor Harbor to enjoy a week-long holiday with friends. The Schoolies destination offer both accommodation, holiday activities and party events to make their graduation week a truly memorable one.

  • What is the Schoolies Beach Festival?
    Schoolies Beach Party Festival is organised by Queensland Government’s Department of Communities. It is a FREE event, held in Surfers Paradise.

    You must have a Schoolies Wristband to attend the event. Schoolies Wristbands are FREE to all Schoolies with a valid Year 12 photo ID.
  • Where do I get my Wristband?
    Schoolies Wristbands are only required for the Week One Schoolies on the Gold Coast.You must provide your Year 12 student photo ID to obtain an official Schoolies wristband to access Safer Schoolies activities. No valid ID = No wristband = No access. No exceptions. Wrist bands are given by the Queensland Government's Department of Communities at the Schoolies Hub. Each year the Government will announce the location and hours of the wrist band hub.
  • What if I cancel after final balance date is past / not past?
    If you cancel before final balance (60 days prior), the deposit of $200 is non-refundable and all other monies refunded. If you cancel after the due date (within 60 days) all monies paid is non-refundable. If the bond is paid, it will be refunded.
  • Can I get a refund if I cancel?
    If you cancel before the due date, all payments besides your deposit will get refunded.
  • What if I have a really good reason?
    Unfortunately all deposits are non-refundable. If the cancellation is made within 60 days, all monies are non-refundable. We always recommend travel insurance for peace of mind in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Can I transfer my booking to another room with Tribe Schoolies?
    Deposits cannot be transferred to an existing booking. If your group wishes to move into a new resort or new room, a $50 fee per person will apply.
  • When are payments due?
    All payments and bonds are due 60 days prior to travelling.
  • When are forms due & where do I get them?
    All forms are due 1st September. You can find them on the website under Tribe Schoolies Forms.
  • Why can’t I upload my photo?
    If you can't upload your photo, it will mean the image is too large or too small. The image be at least 250KB. It also needs to be a colour portrait photo with only yourself in the image.
  • Can I change my photo?
    Once your photo has been approved, it is immediately sent to print. There is a $30 reprinting fee to change your photo.
  • Can I take alcohol to the resort?
    The legal drinking age is 18 in Australia. All resorts have a no glass policy so make sure you only bring cans or plastic bottles. Some resorts may have different House Rules so please check them online before arriving.
  • Can I have visitors?
    You will need to check the visiting hours for the resort you are staying at.
  • What's the security like?
    In most instances resorts provide security to help ensure guests are in a safe environment.
  • Can I request something special for my room, e.g. view, or next to a mate?
    You can certainly make a request to have a view, to be on a certain level or to be near another booking, however we cannot guarantee it.
  • How do we get to Surfers from the Airport?
    You can organise a transfer with Tribe Schoolies. Call 1300 050 600.
  • Where is the Tribe Schoolies Shop located?
    You will be notified closer to Schoolies to where the shop will be.
  • Where can I buy Passports to Party? Is this the same as the beach party?
    The Beach Party is run by the Queensland Government and is on Surfers Paradise Beach. The Passport to Party will give you access to the Exclusive Tribe Schoolies Parties with No.1 DJ's and Celebrity Appearances. You can buy tickets online here.
  • Check-in procedures
    Check-in is at 2pm unless you are previously informed otherwise. You will need to bring a printout of your booking confirmation.
  • Where do I get my Lanyard from?
    Your Lanyard will be in your arrival pack, which will be sent to you with your final confirmation or provided at the resort.
  • Can I stay less than 7 days?
    All Schoolies accommodation is a 7-night package. However, you can split your week with another person. Please call us on 1300 050 600 for more information.
  • What if I'm staying in private accommodation?
    If you are staying in private accommodation, you will need to speak to the owner or booking agent for the details.
  • What happens if I can't go to Schoolies now?
    If you have booked accommodation and can no longer attend, unfortunately your deposit is non-refundable.
  • What if I get someone to replace me?
    If you find someone to replace you, then you must contact Tribe Schoolies to advise that you are no longer attending and someone is taking your spot. The other person will also need to call and pay a $50 name change fee to take over your spot in the booking. They will then need to give you $150 of your deposit back.
  • Does our room price & price per person change if we add or remove someone?
    Yes, the price varies depending on how many people are in the room, as it is based on per person prices.
